Two Soldiers killed As Troopers Mistake One Another For Militants In Kashmir


Two Indian Army soldiers were killed in a friendly fire after two army patrols mistook one another for militants in Tral region of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday.


A police official said four soldiers were injured when the troopers exchanged gunfire in Noorpora area of the region.

He said a patrol of Army’s 42 RR was attacked by soldiers from another column after mistaking them for militants due to darkness.

Two among the injured later succumbed to injuries.

Rest of the injured are being treated at a hospital for bullet injuries.

    If the Northern elite can bring Nigeria to its knees through Boko Haram because they don’t like the president’s face, then who are we to judge the Ijaws if they decide to do the same by stopping oil production because of gross insensitivity to their suffering? You may say two wrongs don’t make a right…but don’t forget the saying ‘what is good for the goose is good for the gander’.
