Policeman Blows ‘Flying Kisses’ To IUST Students, Caught On Tape

SRINAGAR, MAY 15: A cop of Jammu and Kashmir Police was caught on tape sending ‘flying kisses’ to the students of Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) at a crossing in Awantipora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

According to the footage of the incident, the cop posted at a crossing in main Awantipora market could be seen blowing kisses as the students were leaving from the campus following protests to seek release of their colleagues detained by the police.

The university students were up in arms over the arrest of a BTech student Tasaduq Rashid Bhat and his father. Last evening, police and the university authorities said the student has been released.

The students, according to reports, had said that they won’t leave the campus until the release of students from police custody.

Police had come under militant fire after they had raided the house of Tassaduq Rashid Bhat, during night hours.

According to the footage, the students on the university buses booed at the policemen who responded by blowing kisses.
