Militants Open Fire At Army Camp in North Kashmir’s Hajin; Fidayeen Attack Suspected

SRINAGAR, JUNE 5: Suspected militants on Tuesday night attacked an army camp in Hajin area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.

Reports said that the militants opened fire on an army camp around 8:30 pm in Hajin. They said that army retaliated to the fire, triggering an exchange of fire which was going on at the time of filing of this report.

There was no immediate report of any casualties.

A senior army officer confirmed the attack and said that the ‘fidayeen attack’ possibility cannot be ruled out, reported GNS news agency.
