Mobile Internet Snapped In Kashmir In View Of Burhan Anniversary, Kulgam Civilian Killings

SRINAGAR, JULY 07: Mobile Internet service was suspended in Kashmir valley on Saturday following the killing of three civilians in forces’ firing in southern Kulgam district.

The service was snapped in south Kashmir districts of Shopian, Pulwama, Kulgam and Anantnag soon after the civilian killings in Hawoora village.

Three civilians, Shakir Ahmad (22), Irshad Majid (20) and Andleeb Jan (16), were killed after forces opened fire on protesters in Hawoora village during clashes.

However, the service was suspended in central Kashmir’s Srinagar and Budgam districts around 5 pm, apparently in view of second death anniversary of militant commander Burhan Wani tomorrow.
