ULB polls: Petrol Bomb Hurled At Congress Candidate’s House In North Kashmir’s Hajin

SRINAGAR, OCT 5: Unknown persons on Friday evening hurled a petrol bomb at the house of a Congress candidate for Urban Local Bodies’ polls in Hajin area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.

A source said that a petrol bomb was hurled at the residence of Irshad Ahmad Wani who is the candidate for ULB polls for the Congress party in Hajin town.

However, no loss of life or injury was reported in the attack.

Senior Superintendent of police Bandipora, Sheikh Zulfikar Azad said that they have sent a police party on the spot to verify the facts.

Wani is only candidate from Ward No. 2 and 5 for the upcoming ULB polls.
