Four troopers were injured when militants attacked a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) convoy on Srinagar-Jammu highway in Bijbehara area of south Kashmir.
A CRPF spokesman, Bhavish Chaudhury, said that the attack took place near ‘Green Tunnel’ at Sangam in Doonipora area.
He said four troopers were injured after militants fired at the convoy from a distance, adding that all the injured are stable after treatment.
No militant outfit has so far claimed responsibility of the attack.
