Srinagar, Oct 23—Hizb-ul-Mujahideen militant outfit on Monday refuted reports carried in some sections of media over assassination plot by its cadres against the Peoples Conference leader and Minister for Social Welfare Sajad Lone.

A spokesman termed the reports as “fake assumptions”.

In an e-mailed statement to KNS, Saleem Hashmi said that the reports citing Indian intelligence agencies “are false and based on false assumptions”.
