SRINAGAR, OCTOBER 11: Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) has paid glorious tributes to Hizb-ul-Mujahideen commander Manan Wani who along with his associate was killed in a gunfight with government forces in Handwara on Thursday.
A JeM spokesperson in a statement issued to GNS said Manan Wani sacrificed his life for the cause of freedom and Islam.
He said the outfit expresses solidarity with the “brave hearts” of slain Hizb-ul-Mujahideen men and pledges its support to them till the goal of freedom is achieved.
The spokesperson said Manan Wani will emerge as the role model for Kashmiri youth and many more will join the ranks of “mujahideen”.
“We will continue our fight till the last Indian soldier leaves Kashmir,” JeM spokesperson said. (GNS)
