SRINAGAR, AUGUST 24: Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) on Friday strongly condemned the murder of Tariq Ahmad in Kunzer, Tangmarg. The man was assassinated in a mosque.
“Tariq Ahmad was killed by police. The propaganda against the freedom fighters that they have murdered the man is nothing other than trash,” LeT spokesperson, Dr Abdullah Ghaznawi quoted the outfit chief, Mahmood Shah as saying in a statement issued to GNS.
He said: “…killing a worshipper while one was kneeling before the Lord is vilest form of terrorism.”
“Indian attempts of creating misunderstandings between the mujahideen and the public have always been unsuccessful.”
