Stray dogs attacked half a dozen people including a minor in the city outskirts, creating panic among parents and locals.

Nazir Ahmed Guroo along with his injured minor son Arsalan Ahmed appeared in Press Enclave Srinagar on Saturday stating that stray dogs are on prowl at SD Colony Noorbagh Srinagar.

“The stray dogs attacked and injured some six people. My five year old son who was on road was attacked too,” he said alleging that Srinagar Municipal Corporation has miserably failed to check the dog menace in Srinagar city.
Nazir Ahmed told CNS that the dogs that are present in hundreds in Noor Bagh have made the lives of people hell as they especially school going children and females are scared to venture out from their houses.

“We appeal SMC to curb the dog population and kill the stray dogs in the area. If it will not oblige then locals will be forced to kills these stray dogs themselves,” he said. (CNS)
