SRINAGAR 29 AUGUST 29: Suspected militants on Wednesday night abducted a son of a policeman in Tral town of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Asif Ahmad Rather, son of a policeman Rafiq Ahmad was abducted on Wednesday night by suspected militants from his house in Pinglish area of Tral here, a senior police official said.

Rather is a student of SK University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (SKUAST), Srinagar. His father is posted in CID headquarters Srinagar.

Meanwhile, police have launched a search operation to trace the missing cop’s son.
