Srinagar, Jan 4: Dense fog continued to disrupt flight operations at Srinagar airport on Saturday, delaying all morning flights, officials said.
A heavy layer of fog blanketed Kashmir, including Srinagar, reducing visibility significantly. “Due to poor visibility at Srinagar airport, no flight operations have been conducted so far,” an official stated.
Airlines have rescheduled their morning operations, awaiting an improvement in visibility.
This marks the second consecutive day of disruptions caused by fog. On Friday, several flights were delayed, and one was diverted. Operations resumed around noon once visibility improved.
Passengers are advised to stay updated with their respective airlines for revised schedules.
