Mumbai, Dec 8: Popular TV actor Gaurav Khanna has been crowned the winner of Bigg Boss 19, defeating fellow finalist Farrhana Bhatt in a closely watched season that kept viewers hooked for over three months.

Bollywood superstar and show host Salman Khan handed Khanna the iconic trophy along with a cash prize of ₹50 lakhduring the glittering finale on Sunday night.

Khanna, known for his roles in Anupama and CID, said the victory still feels unreal.

“It is yet to sink in. It feels surreal. What makes me happiest is that I remained the same person throughout—no faking, no changing. People appreciated that,”
he told PTI after the win.

He also revealed an emotional moment inside the house that changed everything:

“The turning point was when Salman sir said he wanted to work with me. I cried right there.”

Khanna said he plans to use the prize money wisely, thanks to his MBA background.


Farrhana Bhatt Emerges First Runner-Up

Actor Farrhana Bhatt, seen in films like Laila Majnu and Notebook, finished as the first runner-up. Bhatt said she had no regrets about missing the trophy.

“I never had my eyes on the trophy. I just wanted to give my 100%. When I saw the love outside, I didn’t feel sad at all. I’ve won hearts—that’s more important,” she said.

The Bigg Boss 19 finale was packed with celebrity appearances. Bollywood actors Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday promoted their upcoming film Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri.

TV star Karan Kundrra, actor Sunny Leone, and Bhojpuri singer-actor Pawan Singh also attended.

Host Salman Khan opened the show by thanking fans for their unwavering support. He also paid a heartfelt tribute to veteran superstar Dharmendra, who passed away on October 24. Khan, who shared a close bond with Dharmendra, said the industry would never see another like him.
